Hemp and hemp-derived products now legal in all 50 states
Late last year, on December 20, 2018, President Trump signed the Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 into law. Better known as the Farm Bill, this piece of legislation includes descheduling of certain cannabis products from the controlled substances list.
For almost 40 years, marijuana, cannabis, and related products have been listed as Schedule I drugs. This classification is one of the strictest implemented by the federal government. The United States government considers Schedule I drugs to have no known medical benefits and high potential for abuse.
Today, most Americans and a clear majority of the experts believe that cannabis products are misclassified as Schedule I and that the classification is nothing more than a result of the “reefer madness” scare from the late 1960s and early 1970s.
A Huge Step in the Right Direction
With the recent farm bill, the government is admitting that cannabis and hemp have no known potential for abuse. Although the Drug Enforcement Agency has had a policy of not pursuing cannabidiol (CBD) products in the federal jurisdiction, the new farm bill makes it official. CBD oil and other products are effectively legal throughout the United States.
This shift in policy makes perfect sense, especially when you consider that some brands of CBD oil - like MARK3 Full-Spectrum CBD Oil - contain no THC, the psychoactive substance in marijuana. Simply put, MARK3 CBD Oil cannot get you "high". The pure cannabinoids in MARK3 CBD have many proven benefits, including pain relief, anti-inflammatory effects, seizure control, anxiety relief, and as sleep aides. Researchers have seen even more uses on the horizon, like cancer-fighting ability.
What Does Legal CBD Mean for You?
Dozens of states have already begun decriminalizing marijuana, and many more have allowed CBD products to be sold to the general public. Now we can ship MARK3 Full-Spectrum CBD Oil to all 50 states, helping people in need across America.
For now, marijuana is still illegal at the federal level, although the DEA is showing little interest in enforcing these outdated laws among individual patients. Hopefully, official decriminalization will arrive soon. But the farm bill puts CBD products like MARK3 CBD Oil fully in the legal column, meaning you can now benefit from this non-addictive, organic product no matter where you live. Start living pain-free, anxiety-free, and sleeping better.
